Arrival
Airport pickup in Sarajevo, Dubrovnik or Split. Dinner and overnight in Medjugorje.
St. James Church & Tihaljina
English Mass at 10:00, then a guided orientation of St. James and its grounds: the Adoration Chapel, outdoor altar, Queen of Peace statue, St. Leopold and the Risen Saviour. Afternoon visit to the Church of the Immaculate Conception in Tihaljina. Evening prayer programme and confession.
Cross Mountain & Široki Brijeg
Early guided climb of Križevac past the bronze Stations of the Cross to the great cross erected in 1934, on the 1900th anniversary of Christ's death. Afternoon at the Franciscan monastery of Široki Brijeg, where 30 Franciscans were martyred on 7 February 1945, and its gallery of 1,500+ artworks.
Humac & Sarajevo
The Franciscan monastery of Humac (1869) and its museum (1884), then a scenic two-hour drive to Sarajevo for a guided walk through Baščaršija, where Orthodox and Catholic churches, a mosque and a synagogue stand within a few minutes' walk.
Apparition Hill, Blue Cross & Cenacolo
Pray the Rosary while climbing Podbrdo, where the visionaries first saw Our Lady in June 1981, then visit the Blue Cross. Afternoon at the Cenacolo community founded by Sr. Elvira Petrozzi in 1983. Evening programme: Rosary 18:00, Holy Mass 19:00, blessing and Glorious Mysteries 20:00–21:00.
Mostar & Kravice
Guided tour of Mostar's Old Bridge and Kujundžiluk, lunch with traditional recipes and local wine, then the Kravice waterfalls.
Surmanci – Divine Mercy
The Church of Divine Mercy, its miraculous icon and the relics of St. Faustina and St. John Paul II. Evening prayer in Medjugorje.
